To find out the filesize of your PDF
In Contribute follow the procedures to Link - File on My Computer.
From the Select File box, hover over the file you want and a popup box will tell you the file details, including the filesize (see left)
This will let you see all the details about each specific PDF
Remember to add the (pdf Xkb) to the hyperlink eg
- editor (pdf 2kb)
Buying PDF Software
First choose the product you want (see below) . Your department will have to pay the costs for a license although it will be a subsidised rate. Once that is agreed simply log a helpdesk call detailing which Adobe product is to be installed and your PC Asset number

If you want to:
- convert documents and modify existing PDF's then buy Acrobat 7.0 Standard as it's functions allow you to edit PDF's and make documents more accessible
- have the most accessible documents possible then you can buy Acrobat 7.0 Professional. We do not require or recommend you to buy this but it's an option that's available
