Hyperlinks
1) Can't browse to an external webpage to make a hyperlink.
A) This is because the page opens in a new window. To get round this copy the URL into the Contribute Insert Link box and click Browse to confirm
2) When I enter a URL and click GO nothing happens
A) The GO function doesn't work in Contribute. Just use the Browse button instead
Images:
1) How can I get my images to line up side by side ?
A) You can't because the images are not consistent within different browsers. Use the Imageleft and Imageright Styles
2) When I add an image at the beginning of the page the text is stuck behind it
A) The text and image are conflicting at the beginning of the page. To solve this, press return to take text down a few lines, then insert image at the beginning of the page and add the correct Style, then bring the text back up again around the image
Tables
1) I have many headings and table won't fit into the page
A) Review the data to see if it can be entered in a different way; shorter titles, smaller tables, swap top and left columns etc. If none of these answer your problem then contact the Webteam who can review it with you and maybe add a vertical text Style for you.
2) How do I copy a table into my webpage
A) You can't, unfortunately. You must paste information via Notepad and then manually add into the page

A) This is called a soft-break. Press Shift+return
2) I can't see the 'top of page' triangle in my shared assets --->
A) You have to use the full instructions rather than the Insert icon. From the main toolbar select Insert - Shared Asset. All images and library items should now be visible
3) How do I add the line across the page ?
It's called a horizontal rule. From the main Toolbar select Insert - Horizontal Rule

A) You've deleted too far and lost the Style. You have the choice of:
- Undo (only once)
- cancel the draft and start again
- contact the webteam who will reinstate the Style for you
